Information Blocking Training Bundle
Overview
The Information Blocking Training Bundle provides comprehensive, role-based education to help healthcare organizations understand and comply with the Information Blocking Rule established under the 21st Century Cures Act. Designed for multidisciplinary teams, this bundle equips compliance professionals, release of information (ROI) staff, clinical staff, and registration/front office personnel with the knowledge needed to support timely, appropriate access to electronic health information (EHI).
Across four targeted courses, learners will gain an understanding of the purpose and requirements of the Information Blocking regulations, the responsibilities specific to their role, and the potential consequences of noncompliance. Topics include identifying when EHI must be shared, understanding the Information Blocking exceptions, applying clinical judgment appropriately, responding to patient and third-party requests for information, and developing or supporting an effective Information Blocking compliance program.
By providing role-specific guidance and practical scenarios, this bundle helps organizations promote consistent, compliant information-sharing practices, reduce regulatory risk, and improve patient access to health information. Check out more information for each title on the Agenda tab:
